KID 2226 Ltd is the owner and operator of the construction of HPP Churekovska with an installed capacity of 1 384 kW and an average annual production of\u00a0<\/span>2 844.57\u00a0MWh.\u00a0 HPP Churekovska is located in the vicinity of the villages of Mihalkovo and Churekovo, in the municipality of Devin. The construction of\u00a0 Churekovska HPP began in April 2007 and ended in June 2008. <\/span>The power plant is located on the banks of the Churekovska River. Intakes are built on Churekovska River and Lyavovska River, which are tributaries of Vacha River. Massive overflow weirs with flushing openings are built on each of the two rivers. The penstocks are two\u00a0 with spirally welded steel pipes. The penstocks are dug with a total length of 5 109 meters and are divided into sections as follows:<\/span><\/p>
